PURPOSE:To execute quickly transmission and to save energy of an operator without requiring a manual transmission start operation at all, by constituting so that the facsimile transmission is started automatically as soon as the operator places a transmitting original on an original placing plate. CONSTITUTION:A limit switch 1 detects a fact that a transmitting original 2 and an address information card 3 positioned at the lowest part of said transmitting original 2 are placed on an original placing plate 4, and operates as a start switch of an electric power source part 5. When the electric power source part 5 is started, electric power is supplied to an original transmitting and carrying part 6, a read part 7 and each element of a data processing circuit DP, and as a result, the address information card 3 is carried in the direction as indicated with an arrow A by the original carrying part 6. Following this carrying, a picture recorded on the address information card concerned 3 is photoelectrically converted by the read part 7, and a picture signal SG corresponding to its recorded contents is applied to a system control part 8 and a switching circuit 9 of the data processing circuit DP. |
