PURPOSE:To calculate exactly and quickly the fluctuation in the number of revolution by calculating successively the difference between the 1st time and the 2nd time at every detection of each code by a code detecting means. CONSTITUTION:The time Me between respective TDC signals is first measured at every successive inputting of the position signal for crank angle (TDC signal) synchronized with the number of revolution of an engine and is stored. The measuring time of four measurements before the measuring time of this time, for example, the measuring time Me between the TDC signal Pb and Pa, that is, the measuring time Men-4 between the TDC signals P'b and P'a of one revolution before is read out and is subtracted from the time Men of this time. The difference DELTAMe thereof is calculated. Such operation is accomplished successively at every inputting of the TDC signal, and the fluctuation in the number of revolution of a shaft 1 is calculated successively at every one TDC signals. Then, the error in the measurement according to the mounting accuracy of magnets 2a-2d is eliminated and the fluctuation in the number of revolution is exactly and quickly calculated. |
