PURPOSE:To obtain various kinds of information in the inside of a blast furnace from the same spot in the furnace by providing a probe for measuring the inside of the furnace freely movably in and out at a suitable angle of oblique movement from the barrel or bosh part of the furnace. CONSTITUTION:A probe for measurement is provided movably in and out at 10-40 deg. angle of oblique movement by means of a base 19 fixed to a shell 18 as a support in the barrel or bosh part of a blast furnace. The apparatus at the forward end of the probe are formed of two shutoff valves 20, an expansion 21, a sealing mechanism 22, etc. The apparatus at the forward end except the shutoff valve on the furance body side are removed by removing flange coupling parts 23, 24 in the stage of sampling raw materials. The sampling probe is inserted at a prescribed angle in the furanace to sample the raw materials. Necessary apparatus are installed to the forward end of the probe to measure the temp. and components of gas, etc. A non-water cooled probe or small diameter probe is mounted to this measuring device according to need to obtain the information in the lower part of the furnace, so that the blast furnace is operated stably. |
