PURPOSE:To reduce any creaky sound of a brake effectively in all kinds of disk brakes by a method wherein either the mass or rigidity of a part positioned on the diametral line of an annular sliding plate is made heavier or higher than that of other parts. CONSTITUTION:The wall thickness T1 of a pair of cooling fins 13 positioned on a diametral line is made larger than the wall thickness T2 of another cooling fin 13. The interval between the cooling fins 13 in the circumferential direction, that is, the size of each of the communication holes 14 made equal to each other Due to this arrangement, in this disk rotor 10, both mass and rigidity of the part A positioned on a diametral line of the annular sliding plate 11 can be increased more than those of other portions. Therefore, the part A always shows either a belly or a node in an oscillating mode and then either a pair of bellys or nodes is fixed to the disk loader in all the oscillating modes. |
