The invention relates to an apparatus for adjusting the vertical position of the body of a motor vehicle, with at least one hydraulic cylinder, the piston of which, which is subjected to pressure, supports at least one bearing spring, the motor vehicle having a hydraulic device with a motor-driven pump and a feed line leading to an open-centre-type control valve and having a return line leading to an unpressurised reservoir. In order to provide simple, comfortable vertical adjustment, the hydraulic cylinder is connected to the feed line via an arbitrarily controllable directional control valve which, in a central position (M), shuts off the hydraulic cylinder, in a high position (H) connects it to the feed line and, in a low position (T), connects it to the return line. |
