<p>For the positional fixing of loose upholstery (10) on a seating and/or lying surface (11) or on a backrest of seating and/or lying furniture, preferably a chair, a bench or the like, a retaining body (13) is provided which is formed as an integral plastic part consisting of an attachment plate (13a) and an insertion pin (13b), preferably a hollow pin. This retaining body (13) is attached fixedly or removably to the underside or rear side of the upholstery (10) by bonding, such as by an adhesive layer (15), double-sided adhesive film or the like, and engages removably with its insertion pin (13b) by plug-in connection in a cutout (14), formed by a borehole, in the seat surface (11) or the backrest. As a result, a removable and invisible positional fixing of the upholstery is achieved which can be carried out so as to be retained in a reliable and permanent manner at the manufacturers or later using few manipulations and inexpensive means. Due to the insertion pin (13b), rotation of the upholstery (10) in the plane of the seating surface is possible when the seating furniture is used, which rules out damage to the upholstery since the upholstery (10) is likewise moved along with the movement of the user and is thus not subjected to tensile or tearing stress. <IMAGE></p> |
