Oil burner arrangement for field ranges, with an oil container, a burner tube, and a heated evaporator which is connected upstream of the burner tube and with which is associated a starter mixing nozzle connected to the air supply and a fuel supply, which nozzle heats up the evaporator at the beginning of operation. Preferably there is provided a central distributing and regulating valve which controls the air supply and the fuel supply to the starter mixing nozzle.
