Rotary slide valve actuator in which a disc-like sealing element (8), which is manufactured from a flexible material and in the centre of which a hole is provided, is pressed into contact with a flange surface at one point. The sealing material deformed somewhat in the radial direction in this way is used to produce the sealing pressure against the inner surface of a cylinder (2) and the outer surface of a shaft cylinder (3). <IMAGE>
