PURPOSE:To measure a creatininic acid with high accuracy by preliminarily treating a sample with two kinds of prescribed reactions, removing the greater part of ammonia and glutamic acid, bisecting the resulted reaction liquid and determining the difference in the chemical emission intensitic obtd. by the different reactions of the respective reaction liquids. CONSTITUTION:A buffer soln., luminol soln. and red prussiate soln. are fed by liquid feed pumps 2, 18, 21 into a creatinine measuring instrument. The luminol soln. and the red prussiate soln. are mixed in a mixing coil 24. Serum as a test specimen is injected from a sample introducing part 3 therein and the greater part of the ammonia in the sample is removed by the B reaction of the 1st GLDH immobilized enzyme column 4. The glutamic acid formed by the B reaction and the internally formed glutamic acid are then removed by the D reaction of a GOT immobilized enzyme column 5. the reaction liquid is bisected and after the liquids are treated in a creatinine diiminase immobilized enzyme column 9 and a delay coil 12, the liquids are treated in the 2nd GLDH and GLXD immobilized enzyme columns 14, 15. The intensity of the chemically emitted light is measured in a measuring part 16.
