PURPOSE:To enable the knowing and judging of the positional relation between an own ship and the other ships in the case of passing a crossing point on the courses in a sea area, by marking and displaying the position of the other ship and the position of the other ship at the time when the own ship approaches nearest the other ship on the display screen of a radar. CONSTITUTION:The time when the own ship advancing in a course 5 arrives at crossig points X1, X2, X3 is calculated, and the positions when other ships 10, 13, 16 attain the calculated time are displayed on the image screen 2 of a radar by display marks 12, 15, 18 having the large displaying effect that provides easy visibility on courses 11, 14, 17. The positions of the other ships 10, 13, 16, 19 when the own ship and the other ships approach nearest are displayed with small triangular marks 21, 22, 23, 24 on the courses 11, 14, 17, 20. The other ship 19 which does not cross with the course 5 of the own ship is displayed only by the mark 24 for the nearest position. |
