A carburettor for internal combustion engines with a throttle valve is proposed, which is equipped with a system for the preparation of a high performance auxiliary fuel mixture, which is formed parallel to the main fuel mixture, opens into the intake duct section between the venturi section and the throttle valve and is controlled as a function of the venturi pressure.
