PURPOSE:To facilitate the positioning of a stem by mounting by a method wherein projections are previously formed on a stem substrate in a straight line which passes nearly through the center of gravity on the plane thereof, and an aperture is provided at the top end part of the projection filament, resulting in the formation of a stem. CONSTITUTION:The stem substrate 12 is made to extend out the projection filaments 12a and 12a in a straight line which passes nearly through the center of gravity on the plane thereof. The top end part of the projection filament is provided with a circular hole, a triangle hole, or cutouts 13. A plurality of heads are fed isochronously and positioned and thus mounted by this projection filament. Then, the projection filament is cut and removed at the final step of manufacture. |
