PURPOSE:To obtain a coating film with uniform quality through use at the time of coating, by a method wherein a liquid mixture formed by suspending fine particles in a liquid is mixed with one kind or more medium having specific gravity near to that of said mixture and stirring is carried out to make it possible to effectively prevent the precipitation of fine particles. CONSTITUTION:In a liquid mixture 2 containing a pigment such as a paint in a tank 1, media 7, 8, 9 each having specific gravity near to that of said mixture are mixed and the resulting mixture is stirred by the rotary blade 3 of a stirrer while compressed air is sent into the mixture 2 from a compressed air supply pipe 6 according to necessity and the mixture 2 is pressurized to be sent out from a liquid mixture supply pipe 4 through a strainer 5. As the media 7, 8, 9, one obtained by a method wherein a metal used in the adjustment of specific gravity is embedded in a plastic sphere and the gravity thereof is adjusted to a range of about + or -0.05-+ or -0.07 relative to that of the liquid mixture 2 is pref. used. |
