<p>PURPOSE:To provide a honeycomb shaped ozone removing filter improved in ozone removal efficency, air resistance and strength, by using corrugated carboard prepared through corrugating processing as activated carbon base paper containing powdery activated carbon with a specific fine pore structure. CONSTITUTION:Activated carbon base paper containing powdery activated carbon with a pore size of 30-300Angstrom and a pore volume of 0.15cc/g or more and having a thickness of 0.05-0.40mm. is prepared by a papermaking process. This base paper is formed into corrugated cardboard having a predetermined pitch width and a pitch height by using a corrugating processing machine. The obtained corrugated cardboard is subjected to cutting processing to form a honeycomb filter. Because this filter is high in contact efficiency with low concn. ozon, if it is mounted to the exhaust duct of a copier, ozone can be removed in good efficiency.</p> |
