PURPOSE:To increase a driver's seat space, by supporting a shifter housed in a transmission case on one shifter rod slidably and rotating a change lever in the opposite surface of the transmission cable. CONSTITUTION:A main shaft 2, spline shaft 3, and shifter rod 4 are supported while mutually parallel shaft centers. Two shifter forks 11 and 12 are supported on the rod 4 slidably; the shifter fork 11 engages a slide gear 8 and the shifter fork 12 engages slide gears 9 and 10. A cam plate 13 is provided in the case 1 and a supporting shaft 14 fixed thereto is supported rotatably about the shaft center. The change lever 27 extending outward along the outer circumferential surface of the case is fixed to the end part of the supporting shaft 14 projecting out of the case 1. Consequently, the driver's sheet space increased. |
