PURPOSE:To improve the corona resistance by a method wherein a corona layer is provided by winding a tape of semiconductive paper which is obtained by mixing aromatic polyamid fibers, aromatic polyamide fibrids, and carbon fibers and then making paper, and performing calendar treatment. CONSTITUTION:An earth insulation layer 2 is formed by winding a mica tape on a wire ring conductor 3 of the bundle of a plurality of element wires. A corona prevention layer 1 is formed by winding the semiconductive tape 1a. Where, the tape 1a is formed by a method wherein aromatic polyamide fibers, aromatic polyamide fibrids, and carbon fibers are mixed, then calendar trearment (treatment of heating a semiconductive paper and compressing it through a roll) is applied to the semiconductive paper obtained by making paper up of the mixture, and is cut into a tape. The layers 1 and 2 are adhered overlappingly by resin treatment. |
