PURPOSE:To ignore the defective power supply state of an extremely short period by stopping recording and displaying an alarm only when the defective state of power voltage to be supplied to a recording device which is detected by a detecting means is continued for a prescribed period. CONSTITUTION:A power supply switch SW1 is turned on and new prescribed data are inputted to an RAM in a controller Q1 and displayed on a display DSP. If a default is detected in the AC power voltage by checking an input port PB1, a timer TM is set to a prescribed value, clocking is started and, after completing the clocking, the state of the power voltage is checked again. If the normal state is not restored, said process is repeated, and when a default is detected, an alarm display ALM is turned on and a fixation heater H, a main motor, an exposing lamp L, etc. are turned off. When the power supply is restored to the normal state transfer paper left in a transporation path is discharged and then the timer TM is reset to continue copying. Thus the titled device is disabled to respond to the power failure of a short period. |
