PURPOSE:To efficiently carry out the packaging of paper collections such as, for example, tissue papers, by automatically forming the paper collections with the use of a collection forming machine, which feeds the paper collections to a packaging device, intermittently. CONSTITUTION:A paper A fed from a holding roller 1, is folded by first and second folding devices 8, 10 in a predetermined shape suitable for the direction of paper flow. The folded paper A' is cut in a predetermined length by a pair of rollers 12, 12 for cutting, curving and sorting the paper A' in a paper collection forming device 3 and is curved so as to be double-folded orthogonally to the paper flow direction. Such papers A' are piled one upon another in a predetermined number for forming paper collections. The paper collections are, then, fed to a packaging device by a transferring device 5, intermittently, and are sequentially packaged by, for example, a wrapping film. |
