PURPOSE:To execute programs in parallel and to improve the response capability of a simulator, by dividing a simulation program into event routine groups for updating a current condition table and nonevent routine groups which only refer to the table and never update the table. CONSTITUTION:The simulation execution control program 7 in a shared memory 1 is divided into two kinds of group, i.e. event routine groups 9a, 9b- which update the simulation current condition table 2 and nonevent routine groups 8a, 8b- which only refer to the table 2 and never update it. The execution of both kinds of programs are brought under the exclusive control of an event controller 7a according to flows from processors 10a, 10b-. Thus, the program 7 is executed in parallel and the execution speed of the simulation is increased to improve the response of the simulator. |
