PURPOSE:To eliminate dislocation of trays sideways and enhance effectiveness in handling works by furnishing a stationary and an opening/closing guide, which prevent dislocation of tray sideways by means of touch with the edges of the tray when the tray is moving vertically. CONSTITUTION:During stacking operation, a tray 1 housing enclosed packages is carried onto a roller conveyor 69, stopped and heaved to a position of grasp by a pawl 4 through upward motion of a table lifter 68 for a distance S1. Subsequent rotation of a link device 40 in the B direction operated by a cylinder 46 advances the pawl 4 into the reinforcement surrounding the tray 1 to detain the tray 1 at the pawl 4, and in this condition the lifter 68 is sunk to wait for carrying-in of subsequent tray. Trays 1 are stacked by repeating this unit of procedure. Here dislocation of the tray 1 is prevented by a stationary guide 49 mounted at a member on the device's body side and an opening/closing guide 60 driven by cylinder 52. |
