beta -Lactam antibiotic, its preparation and use

The compound of the formula (VI): <IMAGE> (VI) pharmaceutically acceptable salts and pharmaceutically acceptable esters thereof, are useful for their antibacterial activity and for their beta -lactamase inhibitory activity. They may be combined in a synergistically effective amount with a penicillin or cephalosporin for the treatment of bacterial infections in humans and animals.
