PURPOSE:To measure the change in flow rate at the time of transient accurately, by applying suitable damping to a vibrating member, and preventing resonance within a vortex frequency range of the vibrating member. CONSTITUTION:A damping material 16 comprising a viscoelastic body such as rubber-like substance is applied to the surfaces of a pair of span bands 101 and 102, which hold a vibrating plate 9 of a vibrator 8. In this way, the frequency characteristic of the torsional vibration of the vibrator 8 becomes a characteristic curve B, and a resonating point is eliminated. Therefore, the resonance within a resonating frequency range can be prevented. |
