PURPOSE:To manufacture long sheet, without seam in which cell membrane and blow hole are wholly uniform, by a method wherein vulcanization foaming is continuously carried out by continuously pressurizing and heating the continuous unvulcanized rubber sheet containing foaming agent. CONSTITUTION:Unvulcanized rubber containing foaming agent is batched off in 0.1-1cm sheet state with a calender roll, and molded in a state of long unvulcanized rubber sheet with a fixed thickness. Continuous long sponge, rubber sheet A with a fixed thickness is manufactured by continuous vulcanization foaming according to the process as follows. This unvulcanized long rubber sheet 5 with a fixed thickness is adjusted with 1kg/cm<2> surface pressure and passed through the appropriate continuous pressurizing and heating units 3, 4 and 6 kept at 150 deg.C for about 15min. The sheet A contains blow holes 1, skin surface 2 and skin layer 3. There is no defect such as seam in use, but some merit that care as to seam treatment is not required for this sheet. |
