摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve production efficiency, by sending a battery jar to a thermal welding machine while holding a cover to a cover catcher then advancing a heat plate between the both jar and cover to perform heat melting and then pressing the battery jar and the cover to perform forcible attaching. CONSTITUTION:A battery jar 1, to which a plate group 2 is inserted, is fed to a battery jar clamping bed 7 of a thermal welding machine 6, while a cover 4 is supplied by a cover supply mechanism 10 to a cover catcher 8 arranged to the upper of the clamping bed 7 and held. Then a heat plate 9 is advanced between the jar 1 and the cover 4, and an upper face of the jar 1 and a bottom face of the cover 4 are forcibly contacted, heated and molten, and then the heat plate 9 is detached and retracted. Thereafter, the jar 1 and the cover 4 are pressed by the clamping bed 7 and the cover catcher 8, and the both jar and cover are forcibly attached. Accordingly, as the necessity for performing a process lifting the cover 4 on the battery jar 1 to the upper is eliminated, productivity can be improved while thermal welding in an uncertain position can be prevented.</p>
