The support for ceiling shuttering, comprising panels with rectangular frames, whose longitudinal and transverse beams butt together, has a head which supports for four panel corners. The head has a horizontal base plate with upwards protrusions in a square pattern, engaging the panels, while upright ribs protruds between the adjacent panel frames. The base plate (2) is square in plan view, with alternate protrusions (8) and ribs (11) in a square pattern offset for 45 deg. Pref. each base plate corner carries a protrusion, with a rib in the middle of a long edge.
