PURPOSE:To reduce power driving a blower by inclining the injection hole of a center wedge in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation of a rotor. CONSTITUTION:Hydrogen gas for cooling flows to the duct 1c of a rotor coil 1b formed by stacking conductors of concave sections in a slot between the core ties 1a of the rotor, and is injected in the radial direction of the rotor from the injection hole of the center wedge 1d. The injection hole H of the center wedge 1d is formed inclined in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation R regarding the direction of inflow A1 of the gas, the radial direction N of the rotor. Accordingly, energy required for turning the blower can be reduced because the force of gas injection is changed into force required for rotating the rotor. |
