<p>PURPOSE:To enable the stable tape traveling by controlling in setting tape tension corresponding to a tape winding diameter. CONSTITUTION:A spring member 10 for giving prescribed tension via a tension lever 5 to a magnetic tape T is retained between a control slider 6a for controlling the tension lever 5 to be operated in accordance with an operation mode and the tension lever 5, and spring force of this spring member 10 is variably set in accordance with a moving position of the control slider 6a. Then, the device is constituted so as to set a tension ratio of the magnetic tape T of a tape winding starting position to a winding ending position to be approximately constant. Consequently, the tension ratio for the magnetic tape T of starting of the tape winding to ending of the winding can be set at a small value. By this method, the stable tape traveling is feasible.</p> |
