PURPOSE:To enable to write on a metallic sheet or the like with a water color ink pen without damaging the appearance of the sheet or the like, by using a hot stamp material wherein a coating material layer comprising a water-soluble, hydrophilic or water-containing synthetic resin is provided on a base, and an adhesive layer is provided thereon. CONSTITUTION:On the base 1 consisting of a film sheet formed from a polyester resin or the like and having a thickness of 16-25mum, the coating material layer 3 is provided either directly or through a releasable layer 2 formed by applying a releasing agent. The coating material layer 3 is formed by applying a mixture of a foamed resin obtained by foaming polyvinyl alcohol (which is a water-soluble synthetic resin), polyvinyl acetal (which is hydrophilic) or an acrylic acid ester (which has a water-containing property) with an inorganic material (such as silica) and a dispersing agent or the like, and the adhesive layer 4 is provided thereon. The hot stamp material thus obtained is pressed by heating against, for example, a metallic sheet label 11 adhered onto a cassette 12 while using the adhesive layer 4 as an adhesive surface, and then the base 1 is removed. |
