PURPOSE:To execute adequate wire bonding connection through which a wire being bonded is not slackened and bent by uniformly applying back tension to the wire under a noncontact state by air forwarded from a clearance for ejecting a gas. CONSTITUTION:The clearances 34 for ejecting the gas communicating a wire inserting hole 32 and air chambers 28 are formed among the inserting hole and the chambers, nose sections are communicated with the wire inserting hole 32 and rear end sections with the air chambers, and they are formed in the conical clearances 34 for ejecting the gas, diameters thereof increase toward the wire extracting direction, the rear end sections. The feeder is formed so that air ejected is not ejected in the wire forwarding direction. Accordingly, back tension is applied uniformly to the circumferential surface of the wire 10 by air resistance in the direction reverse to the wire forwarding direction, and the slack of the wire can be removed effectively. |
