PURPOSE:To reduce time loss when copies are taken, sheet by sheet, and to facilitate original replacement by providing a means for setting a postprocessing time and carrying out postprocessing in accordance with the set time. CONSTITUTION:The number of originals are set with a ten-key 30 first in an intermittent copy mode and a period wherein an intermittent copy signal is inputted is set by the setting means 27. In this case, the time is set as short as possible while the time required to replace originals by an operator is considered. When an intermittent copy key 28 is turned on, a main motor 33 is driven to rotate a drum preliminarily and the copying device is held in readiness. A copy button 29 is pressed after the original is set to perform copying operation and the after-rotating operation after the copying process is carried out in the preset intermittent copying period. |
