PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a titled device and to reduce the size, by switching variable power copying through the operation of a single operation button and displaying a set variable power rate, and moving a lens to a specific position in accordance with the variable power rate after the lapse of prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:A panel 1 is provided with a pilot lamp 2a for 0.71-magnification, pilot lamp 3a for 0.81-magnification, pilot lamp 4a for unmagnification, and pilot lamp 5a for 1.2-magnification. When a variable power copy with, for example, 1.2-magnification is taken, the operation button 30 is pressed three times if the lens is at an unmagnification position to turn on the pilot lamp 5a after the pilot lamps 4a, 3a, and 2a are turned on in order by turns. Thus, a lens position is selected accurately by the number of times of the operation of the operation button 30, and every time the operation button is pressed once, a timer operates to move the lens to the selected position after the lapse of prescribed time. Then, a copy botton 6 is pressed to make an optical scan at a scanning speed corresponding to the pariable power rate, performing copying operation. |
