PURPOSE:To remove water completely after defrosting by coating a heater and a heat storing material with an insulating material and providing a water absorbing material exposedly on the surface of this insulating material. CONSTITUTION:An heater 1 is energized in advance so that a heat storing material stores heat. During defrosting, the exposed face of a water absorbing material 4 provided on an insulating material 3 is pressed and moved on the window of a car. Then, heat is transmitted to ice from the heat storing material 2 for defrosting. The water generated as the result is absorbed by the water absorbing material 4. Thereby, he surface of the car window is made a completely dry condition. Therefore, no water remains on the window, refrosting does not occur, and the visibility of the car window can be secured. After defrosting, the heater 1 is energized again, thereby the water absorbed by the water absorbing material 4 is evaporated and heat is stored in the heat storing material 2 to prepare for the next use. |
