PURPOSE:To make a rough adjustment and to eliminate the disorder of the distribution of the electromagnetic field in a waveguide by providig an insulator for a fine adjustmet and an insulator for holding, and a through hole made in an upper waveguide wall, and moving a probe vertically and varying the length. CONSTITUTION:The outer circumference of the insulator 12 for the fire adjustment and the inner circumference of the holding insulator 11 are engaged with each other threadably, and the groove 16 of the insulator 12 is rotated externally with a screwdriver, etc., through the through hole 13 in the upper wall 1a of the waveguide 1 to move up or down the insulator 12, which shifts in relative position to and from the insulator 11 and probe 3 in a space part 14. Consequently, the dielectric constant of the probe circumference by the two insulators 11 and 12 covering the probe 3 varies. Thus, the rough adjustment is made. Further, the tip of a screw 18 is at the same height with the wall 1a, the disorder of the electromagnetic field is never caused there. |
