In apparatus for turning cylindrical objects 6,7 which are moved along a conveyor 2 in a direction perpendicular to its longitudinal axis, 180 degree around an axis of rotation perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and direction of movement by means of a turntable 1 placed in the conveyor, said turntable being capable of rotation around the axis of rotation, the turntable is provided with at least one combined pick-up and launching element 3 which pushes up in front above the level of the turntable and can be moved over the turntable, the movement of the element being controlled so that when the object reaches the turntable, it is conveyed from the centre of the turntable out towards its periphery to pick up the object, after which the element, once the turntable and object are turned 180 degree, returns to its position in the centre of the turntable and thus launches the object from the turntable. <IMAGE> |
