PURPOSE:To extend the service life of a video disk of a no groove capacitance system, by performing the track shift controlling when an S/N of a reproduction signal exceeds a fixed value. CONSTITUTION:A video disk, which is successively recorded the same information on its plural tracks, is used. When reproducing a moving picture, a reproducing stylus is moved for plural tracks. When reproducing a still picture, the reproduction is performed by carrying out an operation in which a track where an object information is recorded is repeatedly reproduced. If an S/N is deteriorated, and exceeds a preliminary fixed value when reproducing the moving and still pictures, an S/N detection part 8 operates to generate a track shift signal E to perform the track shift controlling. Due to this constitution, the service life of the video disk is made larger than that of the track where the same information is recorded by several times. |
