PURPOSE:To enable to operate a pump, by detecting leakage of water in the piping system on the discharge side of a pump through provision of a control circuit capable of discriminating the state that sprinklers are operated from the state that the piping system has caused leakage of water, and producing fire alarm by detecting the velocity of pressure drop at the time when the sprinklers are operated. CONSTITUTION:A time signal applied from a timer 40 for measuring the time of pressure drop to a means 41 for comparing the time of pressure drop is compared with a time signal of a reference time setter 42. In case that the input signal T is higher than a water leakage reference time TL capable of making a judgement that water leakage has been caused, no output is given from the means 41 for comparing the time of pressure drop. On the other hand, in case the input signal T is smaller than TL and equal to or greater than TS (reference time of sprinkler operation), the means 41 affords an output signal to a piping trouble alarm 31 and gives an alarm of water leakage. Further, in case of the input signal T is equal to or smaller than TS, the means 41 affords an output signal to a fire signal generator 28 and give a fire alarm. At the same time, the signal is also applied to a starter board 29 of a motor 3 and sprinklers are set into operation by operating a pump 2. |
