PURPOSE:To control the engine efficiency with excellent response property by controlling the amount of fuel injection and ignition timing of the engine based on the amount of fuel injection and ignition timing obtained repeatedly in response to the state of operation of the engine. CONSTITUTION:In a digital control circuit 54, the amount of fuel injection is calculated synchronized with a crank angle of the engine obtained from an output from a crank-angle sensor 44, and ignition timing is calculated synchronously with the analog-digital conversion of the pressure of a suction pipe of an output from a suction-pipe pressure sensor 23. Fuel injection time TAU which must be determined at every one revolution of the engine while being synchronized with the revolution of the engine is calculated in a main routine in response to a TAU computing flag erected in an engine-revolution interrupting routine, thus avoiding wasterfully calculating fuel injection time TAU, then determining fuel injection time TAU on the basis of the latest data. The burden of the digital control circuit in case of high revolution is small because ignition timing theta is calculated at every fixed time. |
