PURPOSE:To enable the sure drive of a gas shutoff unit without providing a separate driving power source, by connecting the output side of a gas leak alarm to a shutoff control circuit comprising a capacitor and a timer circuit. CONSTITUTION:The output of a gas leak alarm 1, which supplies a voltage of 6V as a gas non-detection signal VGL and a voltage of 12V as a gas detection signal VGH, is connected to a shutoff control circuit 6 comprising a capacitor C1 which is charged by the output of the alarm and a timer circuit 12 which discharge the capacitor pulsatively at a prescribed period through a solenoid 3 when the gas detection signal VGH is being supplied. A large driving electric current can be obtained by increasing the capacity of the capacitor C1 and lengthening the period of the pulsative discharge, to enable the sure drive of a gas shutoff unit 2 without providing a separate driving power source. |
