PURPOSE:To make it available for one's sense of eye-sight by displaying a cooking time or the development of cooking analogously, by a method wherein an output display section for displaying the weight of a material to be heated and a fluorescent light display member for displaying the cooking time are provided in a band-shaped display section on the front surface of the high frequency heater so that the cooking time or the development of cooking is displayed analogously. CONSTITUTION:Output switches 10 and 11 are constructed in a see-saw fashion such that when the right hand side of the switch 10 (11) is pushed down, a key switch 12 turns ON and a fluorescent light display band 9 is lighted up to the right its lighting area increases to thereby set the cooking time while when the left hand side of the switch 10 (11) is pushed down, a key switch 13 turns ON and the fluorescent light display band 9 is put off in a direction in which its lighting area decreases. Thus, the cooking time or the weight of the cooking material corresponding to the color of a cooking means are displayed in an alternative fashion by the proper use of the output switches 10 and 11 and therefore, it is easy to ascertain the contents of display of the output. Further, as the switches 10 and 11 serve as setting switches, it is possible to improve the operation order and the manner of using the heater by the reduction of the number of switches. |
