PURPOSE:To improve an acceleration characteristic, by arranging such that an auxiliary fuel for acceleration is injected from a cold start injector at the time of acceleration, in a fuel injection control device utilizing an air intake tube pressure detecting method. CONSTITUTION:In a step 101, a verification is made as to whether the idle switch of throttle sensor has its output LL changed from ON to OFF. If the result is YES, the operating condition is judged to fall within the early stage of acceleration. In a step 103, a verification is made as to whether the magnitude DELTATA of change of throttle valve opening amount TA exceeds a preset value. When one of these verifications is proved acceptable, a cold start injector is driven in a step 102. In this manner, an electronic controlled fuel injector employing an air intake tube pressure type can also prevent the abrupt leaning of air-fuel ratio, and thereby bringing about an improvement in an accelerating characteristic. |
