PURPOSE:To provide a recording material for OHP capable of projecting a sharp image even in a bright room and a method adapted to the formation of an OHP image, and a thermal transfer sheet. CONSTITUTION:A recording material for OHP is characterized by that one surface of a transparent base material film is roughened to be made opaque or translucent and an OHP image is formed by applying recording to said recording material using a hot melt type transfer sheet. In the thermal transfer sheet wherein a hot melt type ink layer is provided on the base material film, the linear transmissivity of the ink layer is set to 30-98%.
