<p>PURPOSE:The titled composition which, when injection-molded, provides moldings having a flow mark-free surface, prepared by mixing an ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer or an ethylene/alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylate ester copolymer with a small amount of an ionomer resin. CONSTITUTION:An injection-moldable resin composition prepared by mixing about 80-98pts.wt. ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer (e.g., ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer) or ethylene/alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylate ester copolymer [e.g., ethylene/methyl (meth)acrylate copolymer] with about 20-2pts.wt. ionomer resin of an ethylene/alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer, e.g., ethylene/(meth) acrylic acid copolymer. By this mixing, it becomes possible to obtain an injection molding having excellent appearance and a flow mark-free surface.</p> |
