PURPOSE:To regulate injection timing by previously controlling the quantity of fuel fed to an injection pump chamber to quantity corresponding to the state of operation of an engine by a quantity regulator while controlling the pressure starting time of a pressure-forwarding pump chamber by an electromagnetic opening and closing valve. CONSTITUTION:The discharge path 85 of a distributing pump 70 corresponding to the quantity regulator is communicated with a quantity regulating path 66 in an injection unit 1 through a fuel path 97. The cam shaft 71 of the distributing pump 70 is turned synchronized with the engine, a fuel pump 72 is installed to the cam shaft, and a combustion chamber 73 is supplied with fuel in a fuel tank 30. Conduction between a timing path 34 and a drain path 35 is opened and closed by the electromagnetic opening and closing valve 36, and the electromagnetic opening and closing valve 36 is operated by an electronic controller 100 on the basis of detecting signals from sensors of every kind of the engine. |
