PURPOSE:To process flashes of a synthetic resin article without aftertreatment by a method wherein molding is performed by a mold having a smooth cavity inside from a shearing edge and a shearing cut section is deformed plastically along the above-mentioned cavity. CONSTITUTION:First, a heated and softened thermoplastic resin sheet (which is called sheet, hereinafter) 6 is pressed by the fall of the top force 7 into the bottom force 8, then, the shearing edge 9 of the top force 7 and the shearing edge 10 of the bottom force 8 are abutted gainst to each other to shear the sheet 6. Then, the top 7 is made to fall further, the sheet 6 is pushed by the convex portion 12 of the top force 7 into the cavity 11 to move the shearing section 15 to the central portion and the to pull it into the smooth concavity 11 of the bottom force 8. Furthermore, the top force 7 is dropped and closed and pressurized after clamping, the shearing section 15 is deformed plastically along the cavity 11 of the bottom force 8 and flashes on the cut section 15 generated at the shearing time is changed into the shape of the cavity 11. |
