<p>PURPOSE:To ensure the perfect discrimination of bank notes, by feeding the bank notes laterally to an aligning means which pushes both sides of the note toward the center. CONSTITUTION:A device comprising a note inlet 1 composed of a movable side plate 2 and a fixed bottom plate 3, an eccentric roller 4 placed opposite to said movable side plate 2, a taking roller 5 placed opposite to the open end of said fixed bottom plate 3, and a friction roller 6 in contact with said taking roller 5. The bank notes are taken in the device with the taking roller 5 one by one, and transferred through a guide plate 7 and a guide roller 8. A pair of aligning wheels 25, 25 are driven to the direction of the motion of the notes to align the notes on the center line. After the alignment, the notes are transferred with a pair of aligning rollers 19, 19, and discriminated with a discrimination head 18.</p> |
