PURPOSE:To cut a saddle groove having preferable roughness on the finish face easily with high accuracy and efficiency, by arranging a plurality of rough finish cutters and fine finish cutters sequentially on same arc of a disc member. CONSTITUTION:A rotary disc 5 is secured to a shaft 9 rotatably. The disc 5 is fixed with many cutters 11a-11z through a cutter holder 12 where the cutter 11a is for rough finish while the cutter 11z is for final finish. The workpiece or a turbine blade 14 is secured to a fixing table 15 and dismounted by an automatic mount/dismount device 17. In order to cut the saddle groove in the blade 14, it is set to predetermined position on the fixing table 15 by the device 17 then the table 15 is advanced in the direction E then the disc 5 is rotated in the direction C. Cutters from 11a to 11z fixed to the disc 5 will perform arc motion of radius R while cutting the saddle groove at the planting section of the blade 14. |
