<p>PURPOSE:To twist a core wire irrespective of a covering thickness by holding a covered wire between feeding side and receiving side roller pairs and feeding the wire in forward and reverse directions and by providing a cutter unit, twisting part of wire rod part and twisting pressure-regulating part between both rollers. CONSTITUTION:Respective actuating parts mounted on the front surface of the cover 14 of an apparatus are operated by the push-button on the operation panel 16 of the top surface. Feeding side and receiving side feed rollers 1a, 1b and 2a, 2b are spread and an unshown covered wire is inserted from a guide block 8 to reach the receiving side feed rollers 2a, 2b via guide pipe 9 and cutter unit 6 to stop the rollers. Then, the cutter part 6a of the cutter unit 6 is brought into contact with the wire and the cutter unit 6 is moved in the axial direction of the wire to peel and cut the wire while cutting a covering. Also, the twisting part 6b of the cutter unit 6 is driven by a twisting pressure set by a dial 12 to twist a core wire. Thus, the section of the core wire is twisted easily in a short time irrespective of the thickness of the covering.</p> |
