PURPOSE:To realize the effective utilization of a lowly coalified coal. CONSTITUTION:A microorganism, such as a mold, is cultivated in a culture medium such as an agar medium and, with a lowly coalified coal powder put on the medium, is further cultivated to form a black viscous liquid on the surface of the coal. This black liquid is used as a dispersant as such or after removing black precipitates therefrom. Since it has a chemical composition almost equal to that of the feed coal and has an ability as a dispersant, it can be used as a dispersant for a coal slurry fuel. |
