PURPOSE:To economize the amt. of the flocculating agent to be used, by connecting a conveyance and granulation mechanism having a conveyance screw mounted with plural spiral conveyance pieces at prescribed intervals to a revolving shaft to the downstream side of a charging tank for the flocculating agent and providing a scooping up mechanism on the downstream side of the conveyance and granulation mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A supply device of sludge to a solid-liquid separator 30 is constituted of a conveyance and granulation mechanism 1 having a conveyance screw 12 mounted with spiral conveyance pieces 10 at prescribed intervals D to a revolving shaft 9 connected to the downstream side of a charging tank 4 for a flocculating agent, a scooping up mechanism 20 of a long transverse width having scooping up pieces 26 which moves along the bottom part on the downstream of said mechanism 1, and a sludge discharge port 29 at the top edge in the bottom part of the mechanism 20. Thus the flocculating agent charged into the sludge is diffused uniformly thereon, whereby the effect of granulation is provided fully and the sepn. efficiency of the separator 30 is improved. Therefore, the amt. of the flocculating agent to be used in the tank 4 is economized. |
