PURPOSE:To reduce the electric field concentration on the outer surface of an inner winding opposing to an outer winding in a stationary induction electrical apparatus comprising an inner winding constituted by a helical winding an outer winding disposed outside the inner winding, and to reduce the apparatus in size and weight, by winding on the upper and lower sides of the inner wining a plurality of insulators each having a width substantially equal to that of each of element wires constituting the inner winding while making the junctions between these layers offset in the circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION:A laminated core leg 1 of circular cross-section is wound on its outer periphery with a low-voltage winding 2 constituted by a helical winding of a plurality of parallel element wires 2a, through an insulating layer 4, such as a press board. A high-voltage winding 3 is wound on the outside of the low-voltage winding 2 through a plurality of insulating layers 4 provided at spacings. In this constiution, an insulator layer 11 constituted by a press board having a width equal to that of the element wire 2a is wound on each of the upper and lower sides of the winding 2 so as to be in close contact with the element wires 2a and offset in the circumferential direction, thereby to substantially eliminate the depression among the element wires 2a and remarkably decrease the electric field concentration on the corners of the element wires 2a. |
